Our services

Blu Dot Education offer a broad range of programmes for Primary schools. Our 5th and 6th class workshops empower young people by providing comprehensive and inclusive knowledge, going beyond traditional approaches to Sex Education in a way the reflects the realities of the lives of young people today.

Workshops for parents will give caregivers the confidence to speak to their children frankly and honestly about sexuality. We are committed to supporting parents and caregivers in the delivery of high quality sex education that will equip children with confidence and comfortability as they approach puberty.

It is well documented in the research that a spiralised approach to sex ed is the most effective. This means talking to children from an early age about bodies including body parts, bodily autonomy, body changes, as well as consent, families, love and relationships. Our packages can be tailor made to facilitate workshops for all ages 4 to 12, and include workshops for parents and teachers. This combined approach gives young people opportunities to have ongoing conversations at home and at school where shame and fear are replaced with knowledge and empowerment.

Got Questions?

  • Absolutely! And we hope that you will. Our workshops are not supposed to replace conversations you have with your children but to enhance and inspire them.

  • Description text goes hereIt can be hard to find the exact right time to start. We do however know, that the sooner we start talking openly with our children, the better.

Leaving ‘The Talk’ to be condensed into one conversation that covers the physical and emotional complexity of human sexuality is an impossible task. And yet, this is still how many of us and many of our schools approach Sex Education.

Research shows that approaching this topic in a spiralised and nuanced way can lead to ongoing conversations where shame and fear are replaced with knowledge and empowerment.
